http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=31827 Summary : Meaningless "Users Folders" (may be a duplicate of "Home Folder") in KDE "System Menu" Product : Mandriva Linux Component : Core Packages Version : 2007.1 RPM Package: kdebase-3.5.7-8mdv2008.0 Keywords : Triaged Status : ASSIGNED Severity : normal Priority : normal Assigned To: kde@mandriva.com Reported By: ndeb@ece.cmu.edu --- Comment #5 from Nicolas LÃcureuil <neoclust@mandriva.org> 2007-09-29 11:32:03 CEST --- funda please open a bug report for this because we mix bug reports here. ------ Original Bug Text: ------ In the KDE "System Menu", there is an item called "Users Folders" which is actually the URL "system:/users". When "system:/users" is opened in konqueror, this virtual folder appears empty. Its unclear as to what this folder is supposed to contain and nothing in its properties says what its actual mount point is. This is a major usability problem since many of these virtual folders in "system:/" are either inaccessible (bug 31815) or don't make any sense. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandriva.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
