http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13628 ------- Additional Comments From sportrider@gmail.com 2005-14-02 19:10 ------- Yup. Totem is there, and it works fine with the files I tried to associate. For sure the association wasn't already there. When I click on a file I get the dialog "Couldn't display ...<filename>". This is on a fresh install of 10.2. I haven't started KDE, went directly into Gnome, and *.mp3's wouldn't play. Navigate to a folder containing *.mp3 files under my home directory. Right click and choose 'properties->Open With->Add'. Enter /usr/bin/totem and press "Add". Nothing is added to the list of applications and clicking on *.mp3 files still does not open totem. Also using the browse button instead of entering the path to totem directly makes no difference.
