there is no problem with 2.6.11 mm kernels

I suspected udev (udev-057-1mdk) as outlined in another thread, "Re: [Cooker] udev not starting". Rather than revert to an older udev, I tried installing kernel-i686-up-4GB-2.6.11.7mdk, and it also failed to boot with the same error mesgs as the mm kernel. So it appears the problem is udev, not the mm kernel (?)

Shortly after I posted that response, udev-057-2mdk appeared as an update on the mirrors. I had already removed kernel-multimedia-i686-up-4GB-2.6.11-7.mm.3mdk-1-1mdk, and then re-installed it after updating udev. It now boots with no problems, MOF I'm runnin it as I type.

Thanks for your interest Luca
