I'm having big stability issues with 2.6.11-8mdk. My machine freezes several times per day with no log whatsoever (about 4x just today). The only thing that keeps working is the mouse: can't abort X (ctrl-alt-bs), switch to a console, nada. Can't tell if it could be pinged, though. My other machine in the network is headless. Just wondering if somebody else saw this. My hardware: - P4 2.4GHz - 1Gb RAM - sata_promise controllerl, sata disk - lvm on everything but /boot - P4PE Asus motherboard - 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado] (rev 78) network - nvidia geforce gts2 card (with Xorg original drivers, not the binary nvidia ones) Cooker updated today. I don't think it's a hardware issue, because it was working flawlessy with another distribution for many months. I installed LE2005 and then upgraded to cooker about last week (and have been updating everyday). I'll try another kernel in the meantime.
