A while ago Jean-Philippe Provost reported above bug, showing his shutdown screen turned white with a pattern looking like the threads of some sort of textile (see: http://inazadv3.free.fr/screen1.jpg ). ATM I have the same, except not during shutdown but in current operations: Consoles 1-6 and 12 (syslog) all show a red pattern as though a closeup photo had been made of something like linen or jute. The only difference with bug # 15935 is the red instead of white colour. Any new ideas on this? It only happened since late this afternoon (and after I installed the last xorg-x11 updates, but I don't think I can blame it on that). Cheers, =Dick Gevers=
