mime_content_type doesn't returm mimetype for PDF files. 
I had to manually modify /usr/share/misc/magic.mime and replace "PDF document" 
by application/pdf or else it will not sy this is a PDF file. 
 
I know there's better extensions like php-fileinfo, but unfortunately 
php-fileinfo is only available for PHP5 and i have to keep PHP4.
