when trying to open a file whose origin is a digital camera (fujifilm s5000),  
an error message is received: "Opening '/path/to/file.jpg' failed: Plug-In  
could not open image".  
Other jpg files (created by gimp, saved and opened) are OK.  
For example: the file http://bgbg_bg.fastmail.fm/fail.jpg - fails and the file  
http://bgbg_bg.fastmail.fm/success.jpg is ok
