This works in pxelinux, it may work in isolinux:

#Boot the local machine (ie don't PXE)
label local
  localboot 0

According to /usr/share/doc/syslinux-1.76/syslinux.doc (LOCALBOOT section), it
should probably be:
label local
  localboot 0x80

to boot the first hard disk, or

label local
  localboot -1

which "on recent BIOSes, should mean that the next boot device in the boot
sequence should be activated."

We've all done it.  Installed some packages from the installation media, forgot 
the disc was in the drive then shut down or rebooted.  Hopefully we are fast 
enough to reboot again and remove the media before Stage 1 starts. 
 
How about a "Boot from Hard Disk" option to avoid having to wait for POST all 
over again when accidentally leaving the disc in the drive?
