Because cooker is more and more considered as a bleeding-edge
distribution, not as a development tool. The repeated questions about
'is cooker safe to install or not' are just another exemple of this
interpretation.

There is some documentation about cooker at
http://qa.mandriva.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/CookerHowTo. However, they
are far too much duplicated content there (mailing-list, bugzilla,
testzilla), and too few explanations about cooker lifecyle. Upgrading
this page, and refering to it for such questions may help.
