If you had say you were using IMAP in the first place, I would have been able
to answer faster.

IMAP is supposed to keep mail on the server, so, by default, filtering isn't
apply on new messages, since it would require downloading ALL new mails to be
able to filter them. It is usually better to user server side filtering, when
available. This is why filtering is disabled on new mail for IMAP.

For POP, it is always enabled and can't be disabled.

Closing as invalid.

When I put a subject filter and choose a transfer directory, when someone send me a mail with the subject of the filter, it place the mail in my Inbox directory.
But when I click on apply the filters, it places that mail in the choosen directory.
