You should use kpowersave instead of klaptop, it is the default in Mandriva

Hello,

Since kde updated to 3.5.7 in cooker, the laptop applet is not showing anymore on my kicker, and it's not availlable in the applet list too.

I had ACPI problems lately (see bug #29924), but i don't think it's related because this applet worked fine with this problems (i have acpi info, but it's not refreshed after modification on battery state).

kcontrol says (by the way, kcontrol disapeared form the menus too) : 
"indicateur de batterie portable : n'est pas lancé" (in english must be something like "portable battery indicator : not launched).
