Do you know if this could have any effect on x86_64 machines?

There is an issue with Compiz 0.7[.2] on nvidia x86_64. It seems that
0.6.2 works fine but 0.7 fails due to a mimap something or other.

THe code that fails in 0.7 has not changed significantly since 0.6.2 and
it's really hard to work out.

While all the x86_64 processors should support SSE AFAIK, and the fact
that simply trying the downgraded versions seems to fix the problem, I'm
wondering if the driver is having some small effect... It could be also
the compiler I guess? I'm quite stumped by this, so any thoughts however
vauge would be grateful.
