Hi, Most videos can't be played BY DEFAULT with 3D desktop. For all video players, it requires changing the video output to xshm/x11. At least, I've tried totem + gstreamer and kaffeine + xine and both can't play a video decently without changing the output device. This is clearly stated in the errata. But why not implementing a workaround ? Why couldn't drak3D change the output device of all installed players, so that people switching to 3D desktop aren't left with the bad impression that they have to choose between 3D desktop and being able to play videos ? It may be too late to implement this for 2008.1, but would be great for 2009... What do you think ? Vincent
