 I believe it's the same thing as reported in ticket #69.
 I've investigated the issue and it turned out that after adding a
 repository which uses http protocol and issuing 'smart update <repo>'
 smart tried to fetch a text file from the repository called MD5_SUMS (or
 similar), but that file doesn't exist on the server (in fact I haven't
 seen such file in MDK repositories). Now an ftp server would give you
 error file not found and that's ok because smart handles that. But the
 http server returned a custom http page with error description and that's
 where smart died, and was dying all the time from then on trying to
 process that file. When I erased the channel and added one on the same
 server but this time using ftp protocol all was fine.
 BTW, I'm using Mandrake 10.2, URPMI repositories, smart 0.35 (but the
 problem persists since 0.28)
