- Date: 4 Jul 2005 13:13:19 -0000
I'm using Mandriva Cooker and today I tried my regular upgrades. But,
first, I needed mplayer, then I run update, then install then got
mplayer-1.0-1.pre7.10mdk.i586.rpm
Later, I tried to upgrade the system, *without* running update before,
then I get:
mplayer-1.0-1.pre7.10plf@i586
Upgrades:
mplayer-1.0-1.pre7.10mdk@i586 (upgraded)
So it looks like the package from plf upgrades the package from main.
Question is: if both were known earlier, why did it install an "older"
package? Is it some kind of priority issue? I didn't set any priorities
on my channels.
Using smart 0.36
